My designs - purchase patterns

So far I have 3 patterns available for purchase.

I have many work-in-progress patterns on the go at one time, I am currently working on a series of panel afghans - I love these because sections can be taken on the bus to work on, on a car trip, waiting at the doctor, or even just quiet time outdoors.

I have published my first two panel afghans on Ravelry and you can find them through the links below:

 “C2C” Chevron Mile-a-Minute Afghan

Design by Ange Rattai ~ Captured in Crochet © 2014

I created this pattern to solve a problem. I
love chevron, or “Ripple” afghans, but even with 15 years experience in
crocheting, I still can't keep the edges straight on a traditional style
chevron...this pattern solves that with its nice straight edges!
Make this bold chevron pattern using the diagonal box stitch. Made in your
favourite worsted weight yarn, this pattern is easily adjustable to any size you
would like, from lapghan to full king size. Instructions below are for a
stroller / lap sized afghan, with notes to make other sizes following.

The second panel afghan which I just finished, is one I have been dreaming of ever since I learned how to do the Diagonal Box stitch, commonly referred to as C2C or Corner to Corner, although you can work just about any stitch from corner to corner.  This stitch makes fairly perfect square boxes, which when I first saw it, reminded me of 8 bit video games, or drawing pictures on my graph paper in math class instead of learning my algebra... This pattern is worked in sport weight yarn.  You can find all the details for supplies and sizes on the Ravelry page.

You can purchase this pattern at Ravelry or Craftsy for $5 (CAD)

A single panel will fill a crib or Toddler bed

Four panels sewn together will cover a queen sized bed

The stripe in the beginning of the pattern is optional, you can balance things out by adding a stripe at the other end as well if you will be making single baby blankets with the pattern.

One of my biggest passions in creating my own crocheted toys is making puppets and amigurumi (stuffed animals or giving a personality to any stuffed object)   This is my first puppet pattern and it was a real pleasure to make.  It takes the game of peek-a-boo to a fun new level, and is also fun for older children for imaginative play.

Peek-a-Boo Puppet – Rabbit in a hat
Designed by Ange Rattai for Captured in Crochet.© 2014

The puppet is sized for an average adult hand, while easily used by
children over 8 to play with younger children, or to add to a puppet collection.
This is an advanced beginner to intermediate level pattern – you should be comfortable with adjusting stitch counts to suit your needs. Specific instructions are given, but the nature of the project allows for some adjustment.

This pattern is available from Ravelry as well.
